The Dronfield Handbell Ringers were formed in 1975 using a two octave set of Shaw bells cast around the turn of the 20th century. We adopted a four in hand style from the outset and decided, fortunately, to play from music written in a conventional form rather than the number system common to many teams at that time.

Up to the year, 2004, has seen us pass the 300 performances figure and we hope to stay around for a few more years yet, despite the fact that some of us have been with the group since the start!
